Bear hugs, that is :o)

This book by Nicholas Oldland came through the Library the other day, so I had to bring it home!

It's a cute story, and I love the illustration style

What's not to like about a hugging bear holding a flower?

And this

Lucky rabbit!

Of course Amazon has better pictures with their Look Inside feature.

Our library's oldest non-circulating book is a Bible produced in 1674. It has lain in a cupboard, unopened, for years, and was only recently pulled out to make room for some other ephemera. I think I was the last person to have looked through the book, and that was ten or more years ago :o)

I don't think I posted this before, though I meant to...

Another wonderful book that we have in the library: Cuddle Bear.

This is a very sweet story with lovely illustrations, as the cover foretells. The Amazon cover pic links to a short Usborne publishing YouTube video, which along with being an ad does show some of the inside pages.

One of the perks of my job at the library is access to so many wonderful books. I came across this title by accident, loved the illustration, and ordered a copy from another branch.

Spoiler... )

(please let me know if the pic is right-side up: this is a Dropbox screenshot image)
