Disney foxes, the old and the new

Robin Hood has been re- (re- re- re-...) released on blu-ray in honor of its 40th anniversary!

A new fox is being developed at Disney for a movie release in 2016. I actually saw this on r/furry via a tumblr post, but the press release is online. This is IGN's article link.

Thanks for the heads-up about the Robin Hood blu-ray. I didn't know one had been released, and, yes, I'll probably have to snag a copy at some point. :-)

I hope Zootopia is as good as it could be. I like that fox, and I would imagine that there could be some good plush potential there. ;-)

I was looking for this to go to blu-ray early in the year, and then went off on other web adventures. I did get a reasonably priced copy of Bolt recently (Shameless- I bought it for me for someone to give me for my birthday) and then decided to look again for Robin Hood. Hopefully it will drop a bit: we have the "most wanted" edition DVD from a couple of years ago so this needs to come down enough to justify another copy (I believe I have 3 VHS tapes of this, from various releases, thanks to our buying one and then other copies appearing in the book sale at work).

I hope Zootopia is as good as it could be. I like that fox, and I would imagine that there could be some good plush potential there. ;-)

The premise looks tired but it's early yet. I was amazed with the Brother Bear movie that it started as a totally different concept before becoming what it ended up as. I found that out from the 'Special Features' disc. Jungle Book had a lot of film dropped as well before becoming such a memorable flick :o)

And maybe it's just me, but the story board pic above looks like something from a Cats Don't Dance artist.
