Alice Through The Looking Glass
Dec. 27th, 2016 07:37 amHave I mentioned how much I hate sequels? Probably not, because not all sequels are terrible. Alice Through The Looking Glass was pretty good, actually, though I don't really consider it a sequel more than just another story about Alice's adventures.
Another misleading trailer! ;o)
We also watched this over the holiday. Very enjoyable. My favorite characters were

But yes, sequels are seldom good news; but there certainly are exceptions, like Toy Story II, or even The Empire Strikes Back. That's something I've long respected Ghibli for - no sequels. No Spirited Further Away, or Howl's Moving Castle's First Marathon, or Totoro II: Electric Boogaloo. =:)
Hmm. Maybe I'll set that as a challenge in my next entry: concoct the worst Ghibli sequels possible. ^_^;

LOL! Poor Ghibli... How's about Howl's Moving Castle in the Sky for a mashup?
