My internet, phone, and tv are dead. FiOS thinks they can restore service by 7:00 tomorrow evening (after the SuperBowl starts, and after the PuppyBowl ends). We had a lovely storm, heavy wet snow and branch-breaking wind, and lost power and services starting at 2:30 PM yesterday afternoon. Luckily we have power now (heat, water, and electricity were sorely missed). Heh, it was like a camp meal last night as we had Spaghetti-O's for dinner: the stove is gas and the burners will light with a match or striker.

But, I'm at work, and have to head back to Circ. Two pics until I can get back online from home again.

Both taken after the storm subsided.

The Puppy Bowl! That's still on? Awwr.

Hope you'll get everything restored ASAP, too. Snow's lovely, but I do agree that so's having electricity, phone and Internet.

Neat. ^^ I've never actually watched it, alas, just read about it on the web.

I like the puppy bowl more than the super bowl itself. XD

Oh, what glorious scenes! I'd be scampering around filling up the SD Cards, unquestionably. ^_^ Were there any buns out doing rabbity things in such a beautiful vista? (Snowshoe hare, dontchaknow =:)

Mmm, electricity's very soon missed - and in our case, not just (!) lighting, but cooking too, as the hob's a halogen beast. Or something electric, at any rate - a lot of thermal inertia, unfortunately, so you have to control the level much like steering a supertanker. =:) Or in my case, I just turn it on full, most of the time, as I'm forever cooking stir-fries, biryanis, and all that kind of stuff.

The picturesque fairyland was like a booby-trapped sci-fi adventure. Tree limbs cracked and floomphed about you as you walked. Large clumps of icy white dropped on one's head, or down one's back, and everywhere branches were falling, muffled.

I saw no buns, but I had what I'm pretty sure we're fisher tracks loping through the dog's yard. In the front today were bunny tracks, and some candid or another.

I can't say enough good things about utilities that function properly!

Well, at least it's wonderful to look out at, and I hope the stock of books is holding up.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading an interesting book, one I had just heard of and gotten via inter-library loan, and will do a quick post on later.

I thought it was quite pretty, and was content with heat/power/water, but the football aficionados were in terror of missing SB50.

The beauty of the landscape took one's breath away :o) I felt insulated from the world as the snow hissed down around me, and the aftermath, the stunning sunset, was mystical.
