A movie starring Ben Vereen arrived in the ILL delivery at work today. My mind immediately recalled him as Mayor Ben...



I hadn't thought about this odd little show in years. :D

Loved that show! I think I was in college at the time, but the furry seed had already sprouted in me and I longed to be the characters.

The eighties were a magical time for me, and for many others whom I see write about their early experiences. It's like there was a hidden current, a 'furry' thread, running through our subconscious minds, For me it was a reawakening, or a coming to terms with how I had felt as a child (my Bugs Bunny attraction). Zoobelie Zoo was one of many furry-themed programs that came knocking on the door to my inner bunny's home.
