You kids get off my lawn!

I was having coffee in the front room this morning and just happened to look up in time to see a deer out front watching the house. I was able to grab mycamera phone without spooking him or his friend off, and got a couple of shots

The Huntress slept through this, but saw them out back a little later and, growling, charged them at the fence. She doesn't bark at them outside, only when she's in the house. These two have been in the area now for a while. One still had dappling in his fur.

Oh, Clint!

In my situation it's a pain to get down into the far back corner 40 feet from the house (thus the "back 40") and mow this 10ft by 6ft trapezoidal corner. I might get down there once every two weeks with the weedwacker as I don't own a lawnmower. That corner constitutes 75% of all the "lawn" on my property (the rest is a tiny sliver in front of the house).
